    We were awakened at 4am by the anesthesiologist wanting approval for brother, Tom's, surgery, which was imminent. Yesterday, we gave all approvals to the physician, so thought that we were done with that. We waited for hours to hear about the surgery and finally heard from Tom's case worker that all went well.     A day of rest! These are so welcome when you've been cooped up in a car for 12-13 hours. For the journey home we planned 2 driving days and a rest day. This seems to work out well for us.
