Today the journey began! My mom and I drove to Kansas City in order for me to board my flight early tomorrow morning. Also, once I get home from this trip, I will have to finish out my Guatemala blog. It was a CRAZY 5 days that I had between my trips. I had 5 cheer practices, 4 job interviews, 2 photography sessions, lots of laundry, 1 job acceptance and a ton of time with my family before heading out on trip number 2. :)

Well, we thought maybe you'd like a little summary and some interesting tidbits about our trip. First of all, if you followed us, you know that we were in a new place every night except for our time in NYC and Boston. Our travels took us through 7 states(some more than once) - Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island - plus 2 Canadian provinces - ...
Just a few final thoughts about our trip. First of all, I know we said it repeatedly, but we had a wonderful, awesome trip. We traveled 4,127 miles in 21 days. Our longest day was our last day and that was 480 miles and our shortest day was 88 miles. For anyone interested in details, we averaged 28.7 mpg and our average speed was 57.5mph - all of that in our 2002 electronic blue Corvette.
