    ... get those in Johannesburg. One amusing event occurred, the check-in agent told me she could only check my suitcase as far as Atlanta, not all the way to Dallas, because they didn't have an arrangement with Delta, and because I would have to collect my suitcase at the first port of entry to pass customs.

    From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Located 250 meters under ground are loads of stalagmites, stalactites, draperies, soda straws and popcorn. Soda straws being the tiny ones hanging from the ceiling . In Europe we call them Spaghetti. Popcorn are located on the ground. The cavern is beautiful, but we saw an even more beautiful cavern in Slovenia last year, so were a little spoilt. ...
