... they had any tops to match our new apparel. Hayley managed to get a nice hot pink top to match her hot pink skirt (we won’t be losing her in New Orleans!), but there wasn’t much we liked, so drove over to the Outlets we had briefly visited the other day. You’d think it’d be fairly quiet on a Monday, not so! It took us twenty minutes to find a parking space and that one was way over the back. But we did ...

... Took a brief lunch break with Verity, who's attending different sessions, to sit out in the sunshine and top up the vitamin D. There was networking to be done in the evening with warring pianos for entertainment. We met lots of other healthcare professionals and even one of the IHI founders! Tuesday was another packed day with sessions from 7.30am to Don Berwick's Keynote at 2.30pm. Discussing different healthcare systems and hearing from people all over the world has made ...

I think I've cracked it. Disney's philosophy about what constitutes "luxury". It's space. We went to the Grand Floridian for dinner the other night and the overwhelming impression of the hotel is of space. It is huge. Vast open spaces open on to more vast open spaces all for no other reason than to create the illusion that because there is so much space it must be very luxurious.
But it's ridiculous. They are confusing "luxury" with "expensive", and they are not ...

... at the Hilton! Praying that the shuttle dropped them off first, so as to avoid the shame of them seeing the **** hole we were staying in. When we arrived we were greeted, rather ungratefully by the most typical orlando guy you could imagine; pretty large, dressed all in black and clearly from Mexican descent had decided to allow his beard grow only around his chubby has line, and Ofcourse the obligatory silver jewel earring. We couldn't check in for a few hours so we ...

... rides. The coasters here were the smoothest of any we had ridden and the park was much quieter than everywhere in Orlando. The animal exhibits were great too, although I have t admit, we didn't go out of our way to see any of them, but those we came across we enjoyed. It's only going to get better in the next couple of weeks when Falcons Fury opens, it's a free fall tower standing over 330ft, which sends you hurtling to the ground face first. I'm not ...
