      ... entranced by all of the action. It is a great spectacle and this stadium was amazing, having been refurbished for the Super Bowl that it hosted 8 years ago.

      Half time coincided with hot dog time and another beer. I could get used to this game. The second half felt like the pre-season game that it was and with the Saints leading comfortably we left during the last quarter and headed off to bed.

      ... they had their ceremonial ice water dumped on the band members. It was really cool, because I was there to witness it. This is something that very few people get to be a part of and will be a part of their history as long as they are remembered.

      ... closed on Sundays and Mondays. Thanks to Caroline, we were able to get in the back gate and walk around the house and garden. We could not see inside but got to enjoy the surroundings. Jim, as mom calls him, is her 1st cousin 2x removed. Mom's grandmother Dale (Eliza) was Jim's 1st cousin. His mother, Elizabeth Marine, and her father, Asa Marine, were brother and sister.
