She obviously got mislead by our many heavy bags and exhausted, sleep deprived faces.         ... nap. I dozed off for a bit but Amanda & Byron were out to it, real struggle getting B up. Off for another walk as need to hold proper sleep till later so the body adjusts. Then home for a swim in the pool and then next door to Denny's for quality American food. Meals way too big, will need to find better options. Anyway bedtime now, Amanda & Byron crashed out, big day tomorrow , time to hit the rides. ...

        ... in to the finals for his modeling! Unfortunately Jacob, Sam and Chelsea were not successful in making it to the final showcase, although being selected into the semi finals is such a huge achievement, as well as just being at the competition! We can't wait for Deyako to perform at the Final Showcase and make us all proud! Today (Thursday), Deyako was busy rehearsing in the performing arts centre for modeling at the final Showcase.         ... burgers were really nice; not greasy, and full of flavour and toppings of your choice. The chips (fries) were great too. A unique thing about this burger place too, is the pile of Peanut bags sitting in the middle of the restaurant when you walk in the door. They offer 'help yourself / all you can eat' peanuts. An odd combination for a burger and fries place. But hey, it is America ;-) After dinner we headed to a supermarket for each of us to buy some supplies for the week ...

        ... across a full body "Drier" where you insert a coin, step inside and get blow-dried after the wet rides. What a fantastic idea! Too bad it wasn't going, I was pretty drenched. We finished off the day with an encore ride on the "Silver Bullet". It was much better the second time round when I was feeling better, and gladly, I didn't faint on it!
