Crime and Punishment
We thought we would need maybe an hour for the Crime and Punishment museum, but instead we stayed for nearly 2.5 hours until they closed st 8! Really interesting place, looking into crimes and punishments from medieval times to now. There were excellent displays about pirates, witch trials, cyber crime, FBI, medieval punishments, infamous criminals .... the list goes ...
... I am excited to have someone else with me that I can share the experience with and hopefully this will help with the whole homesickness part that everyone is warning me about.
The next time that I am writing, hopefully I will be sitting somewhere in Singapore with insane jet lag, sweating my my shirt through, getting a great tan and soaking in this new and amazing place that I am about to spend the next 5 months living in.
... wrong! They are incredibly humungous!! It showed the first aircrafts to fly and the original propellers and Emilia airhearts aeroplane and uniform. There was so much information to take in, this trip my head is bursting with history and knowledge, I can't physically take in anymore information haha! ... as the Intercounty Connector or ICC, is a toll freeway, connecting Gaithersburg in Montgomery Country with Laurel in Prince George's Country. In other words, a Lexus Freeway. We rode it to visit my step-sister, Florence. It's a nice, three lane drive, that avoids much of the traffic you encounter on the Maryland roads. But watch out! ... staying 2 nights and I had to move rooms. This is a bit annoying as it is nice to leave a few items out (eg: pjs, phone charger, shower puff), but not the end of the world. However I spoke to two people who also had been switched around rooms and I realised that it was to accommodate these massive groups of annoying kids. This realisation made me less tolerant to the switch.
