... brother is in a golf cart around here. It is a steady stream of them. They are not a bother though, very quiet since they are all electric.

We did take some time to head up to an observation tower that the park has that overlooks the beach. We spent some time up there and took some pictures. A couple from Greenville, SC was up there and they took our picture overlooking the ocean and we reciprocated.

... Estate in Asheville was a must see. The Biltmore House is a Chateauesque-styled mansion built by George Washington Vanderbilt. That is the second person who told us about that so we will be sure to check it out.

Jim again… Once we got back to the coach Cheryl got Harley rinsed off and we hung out on the patio and enjoyed the quiet of the morning. It didn’t last too long, though as the golf cart brigade started moving around ...

Hit the Beach

Cheryl began looking for shells along the shore. Many shells but mostly broken up. We walked north on the beach about a quarter of a mile before we turned around to head back. The water was warm and was some of the cleanest and clearest water we have seen. It was heavenly.

Once again, Harley was a hit with the girls. And the boys, too. He is quite the conversation starter.

... Our next stop was the Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum. We LOVED IT. This was Peggy's favorite thing to do on this trip.
