Today is our last day in London. We started off with a trip on the London Eye, the second tallest structure in London. This was a great way to see the entire city from above. We all enjoyed this. We left the London Eye with a better understanding of the layout of London. We next headed to the Horse Guards Parade at Whitehall. Here we saw the …
Our first day in London started out with a welcomed cooler temperature. The temperatures throughout our trip have mainly been in the upper 80s. We were happy to experience 70 degree days. Our first stop was the Tower of London. Fortunately, none of our group was locked in the torture chamber nor experienced a beheading. This was a gruesome place …

We were about to head back down to the ground when the attendant said, "you've come this far, you've got to go to the Stone Gallery. It's just one more level up and has superb panoramic views of the city!" Thanks for saying that in front of the kids, lady. 119 steps later, we made ...
... development of the different styles. We then headed to the National Portrait Gallery - which I didn't go to last time. I really enjoyed the gallery and the interesting stories behind each of the paintings. We then headed back to Rotherhithe. After dinner Ian decided to pop out to the supermarket. He suggested that I should get my phone, so he could text me and I could go downstairs and open the door. Unfortunately I ...

St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, and the Tower Bridge, and the Royal Albert Hall were the top activities requiring paid tickets, and today we grouped the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge together with a pilgrimage to where Chaucer's pilgrims set out for Canterbury, the site of the former Tabard Inn in Southwark.
After a strange night of sleep and wakefulness that made it very difficult to rise this morning, we set out for ...

Room was comfortable...Bathroom was amazing! TUB was fantastic. Location was prime. We did have to wait while they "prepared" our room but offered complimentary drinks and snacks. Overall, I was quite happy

Historical Traveler Reviews The Bentley London - a Hilton Hotel
This has to be one of the hottest spots in London. A new hotel maybe but you'd not know it. Fabulous decor, exceptional staff and then there's the restaurants. Chef Turner produced my family and I a 7-course dinner with wines to match that was quite simply the best meal ever. And at a highly reasonable price. His passion for Foie Gras and Scallops (not together) shows through but presentation and attention to detail is unbeleivable. If you go, give yourself time as it's an experience to be savoured as it's no everyday meal but one things for sure, make sure you do go. Well done, The Bentley
Excellent restaurant & bar
Andrew Turner and his colleagues at The Bentley are certainly creating an experience to remember. My wife and a group friends enjoyed the menu gastronomique and we were delighted. The food was excellent and the wines chosen by the sommelier for each course were a perfect accompaniment to each course.I would certainly recommend The Bentley for both business and social dining.
This hotel is so chic ... you must stay there. Living in london i have seen all the best hotels but this is SUPERB. Everybody was soooooooo nice from when we arrived at 1am to when we overslept and missed breakfast .. it was sent up as "nohing is a problem" we were told. This hotel is one in a million.
We had a meal in 1880 on Saturday. It was a class above anything else in London. The service was second to none the food was to die for. It was a fantastic eating experience. The chef Andrew Turner has got it just right. We are all looking forward to staying in the Hotel next to sample the rest of this wonderful place.

Culinary delights at the Bentley
Fan dabby do! Chef Andrew Turner prepared a wonderful gastronomic experience for 2 colleagues & me. Refered to as the "Grazing" menu, 7 courses of an excellent standard were served with wine selected by the Bentley's sommelier. For food of such a high standard the check was a pleasant surprise. Beautiful tender lamb; foie gras to die for. The surroundings, decor all shout quality. Enjoy one of London's newest & best restaurant/hotel.
Fantastic weekend at the Bentley. Must be the most stylish hotel in London. Staff very friendly and helpful. Can't thank them enough for sorting out a wonderful weekend for me and my wife. Would suggest to anyone wanting a luxourious weekend in the centre of London to stay here. Have a great holiday.
Wow!! Absolutely Fabulous
Everthing was fabulous! A beautiful building with wonderfully kind staff. Will definately be back.
Spoilt like a King
Luxury fit for a King. I have never seen such comfort at such competitve prices. the food in the fine dining restaurant, 1880, is worth the calories!!! The Spa is an amazing offering. Not so sure about the Cigar lounge (but then again I am a non-smoker).
Love the Turkish Bath
The Turkish Bath is a "to die for" expreience. What pleasure, I must say.
