Flew to London to bang my first MILF. I picked her up on Eharmony (Eharm) and I had been living in the Middle East for about 3 months and was ready to start my global franchise. The flight was easy (I took Turkish Air) because I was cheap and hadn't learned to appreciate the intangibles Qatar Air offers. BTW always fly a mid-east carrier (Emirates …

What a Place to End Our Trip!

... from the first movie. I think the queen looks the best. Our tour started! The first thing you see is the amazing Great Hall! It was huuuge. The digital guide said that they polished the tables, but when you have 400 children . . . look at all the names carved in hehe. There was so much to see that it's all so hard to explain. The make-up station, the boy's dormitory (which was built for 11 year olds throughout all 8 films), potions classroom, Dumbledore's ...

Hop On Hop Off Bus Tour

A travel blog entry by thorpe54

Unfortunately we woke up today to an overcast rainy day - so much for our great tour. We continued on with our bus tour and were still able to view many of the landmarks. We caught the Tube into Baker Street where we joined our tour. After the full circuit we hopped off and had lunch then after a bit of a walk around we hopped back on the blue line bus where we were able to sit up top as the sun had come out for the afternoon. We hopped off at Trafalgar ...

... he was the right man at the right time. Trivia fact: he was a horrible student and a functioning alcoholic. I also find it hilarious that they spent so much building the bunker below No. 10 Annex yet during raids Churchill would go up to the roof to watch. The walking tour (London Walks www.walks.com) was good, but a little too much story telling and not enough substance for my tastes. Overall a very good ...

In London for the Olympics!

... had TV screens everywhere so we watched the Australian swimmer get pipped at post once more before we left – it’s been a very silvery kind of Olympics for Australia!

Thursday 2 August

We woke up and put on our face paint and got our flags ready for seeing Aussie men play China in the Basketball. My hip was still really hurting so we caught a ride on one of the mobility vehicles ...

Room was comfortable...Bathroom was amazing! TUB was fantastic. Location was prime. We did have to wait while they "prepared" our room but offered complimentary drinks and snacks. Overall, I was quite happy

    SIMPLY AWESOME

    from anonymous

This has to be one of the hottest spots in London. A new hotel maybe but you'd not know it. Fabulous decor, exceptional staff and then there's the restaurants. Chef Turner produced my family and I a 7-course dinner with wines to match that was quite simply the best meal ever. And at a highly reasonable price. His passion for Foie Gras and Scallops (not together) shows through but presentation and attention to detail is unbeleivable. If you go, give yourself time as it's an experience to be savoured as it's no everyday meal but one things for sure, make sure you do go. Well done, The Bentley

    Excellent restaurant & bar

    from anonymous

Andrew Turner and his colleagues at The Bentley are certainly creating an experience to remember. My wife and a group friends enjoyed the menu gastronomique and we were delighted. The food was excellent and the wines chosen by the sommelier for each course were a perfect accompaniment to each course.I would certainly recommend The Bentley for both business and social dining.

    Fantastic

This hotel is so chic ... you must stay there. Living in london i have seen all the best hotels but this is SUPERB. Everybody was soooooooo nice from when we arrived at 1am to when we overslept and missed breakfast .. it was sent up as "nohing is a problem" we were told. This hotel is one in a million.

    Top Chef

    from anonymous

We had a meal in 1880 on Saturday. It was a class above anything else in London. The service was second to none the food was to die for. It was a fantastic eating experience. The chef Andrew Turner has got it just right. We are all looking forward to staying in the Hotel next to sample the rest of this wonderful place.

    Culinary delights at the Bentley

    from anonymous

Fan dabby do! Chef Andrew Turner prepared a wonderful gastronomic experience for 2 colleagues & me. Refered to as the "Grazing" menu, 7 courses of an excellent standard were served with wine selected by the Bentley's sommelier. For food of such a high standard the check was a pleasant surprise. Beautiful tender lamb; foie gras to die for. The surroundings, decor all shout quality. Enjoy one of London's newest & best restaurant/hotel.

    Fantastic style

Fantastic weekend at the Bentley. Must be the most stylish hotel in London. Staff very friendly and helpful. Can't thank them enough for sorting out a wonderful weekend for me and my wife. Would suggest to anyone wanting a luxourious weekend in the centre of London to stay here. Have a great holiday.

    Spoilt like a King

    from anonymous

Luxury fit for a King. I have never seen such comfort at such competitve prices. the food in the fine dining restaurant, 1880, is worth the calories!!! The Spa is an amazing offering. Not so sure about the Cigar lounge (but then again I am a non-smoker).

    Love the Turkish Bath

    from anonymous

The Turkish Bath is a "to die for" expreience. What pleasure, I must say.
