      Thankfully, Dan was discharged from the hospital in Lake Charles, LA yesterday at noon -- he's very tired, has several new medicines to take, but will be okay.       ... there were a bunch of ducks around which all the signs said not to feed them. We obeyed the signs but did have some ducks hanging around trying to get us to feed them. One was pretty aggressive and poked me in the butt twice with his beak. I was really startled and jumped out of my chair.
