We spent the first 2 days travelling around on the hop on/hop off bus. Good value for money 30 each. The bus stop is just around the corner and starts at 8.30am. There are several routes and we did blue and red mainly. 1st day we spent all morning on the bus orientating ourselves. It was very cool but the rain held off. ... the Thames in the distance. The tower was built in 1930 with the OXO windows to get round the planning restrictions which did not allow advertising. There have been so many interesting sights that this has taken us much longer than expected so now we must get going as we still have to cycle all the way back.
