Three to get ready, now go cat go!

A travel blog entry by ruthii on Aug 29, 2014

After yesterday's disastrous drive, and subsequent incredible music evening, we found ourselves enjoying the luxury of a long lie in. After a very late entry into breakfast and consuming the morning's dregs, we headed back down the hill to the main tourist attraction in Nashville, the Country Music Hall of Fame. Home to an incredible array of memorabilia, footage and photographs, it was a thorough walk through the history of the genre. Spread over three floors, there was an immense ...

We then got 4 hours of the most most incredible service and food I think I've experienced anywhere. Particularly the service. Our bar tender was like an old friend by the end. He went though everything on the menu in such detail we were all blown away. Then when the ...

... very very quickly but with limited time and many places we wanted to visit we couldn't spend more time there. We are heading to Memphis by Greyhound coach instead of driving as we aren't that confident of our driving skills yet, plus it is a hell of a lot cheaper. $115 for both of us from Nashville to Memphis and return and it is about a 4 hours trip each way.  We will get the coach back from Memphis to Nashville and then hire a car to go to the Smoky ...
