Coffee, chocolate and "Grey's Anatomy"

... trip in the place called "Glo's". They told me their coffee was from a small roastery on the Bremerton Island and it was just delicious (I had three cups ;)). "Glo's" is also a perfect breakfast/brunch spot!

Seattle is also home to Starbuck's and so here, near the Pike Place Market, you can visit the very first Starbuck's in the world. It's sweet to see their old brown logo and the shop itself is really cut but we didn't enter as there was a huuuuge ...

... last Empress of China. The ticket attendant in there was a real Anglophile & we had some great discussions about all places & things British. The observation deck wrapped around floor 35 just topped it all off & we enjoyed the great view of the Space Needle framed by all the tower blocks, Safeco Stadium and the harbour.

I sat on a bench near the water sculpture fountain by the aquarium, tired and hot from lugging my bags around, and decided to wait for Mike there while people-watching (which was hilarious since a homeless guy ripped his shirt off and swam around the fountain collecting coins that people threw in).
