... air con mall filled with international brands. I was melting and fried by this point so I grabbed a bite to eat and retreated to the cinema for a forgettable movie. Refreshed, I re-crossed town to Xavier University and the Museo de Oro, which features the ethnology of Mindanao. Not everyone's cup of tea but right up my alley. After a good morning we enjoyed a fun afternoon of Philippino games with all the kids. We played our first Philippino wide game together, two teams started at base, aiming to capture members of the opposite team. The sprinters were the winners, ended with a draw: 4:4, it was brilliant fun enjoyed by all. Following the match ...

... I now followed the main street heading away from city hall towards my hotel

Hotels are usually hard to find but this was simple right on the main street I had been walking on, even though my map showed a side street. The hotel was clean and modern just like its photos on the internet.

      The receptionist spoke ...
