Oamuru is called the Whitestone City due to the cream coloured local limestone used in the beautiful ornate Victorian buildings in town and they have embraced all things Victorian. It is definitely the place to go for for vintage and antique shops, pre-loved items, and stalls selling everything under the sun and with jazz playing courtesy ...

    ... the kitchen, a mustard stove and laminex table. Wood panelling lining the walls! We love it! A quick 5 minute freshen up and we all walked back to the Ostlers wine bar for free tasting of his delicious wines! We bought a red and a white. Back for a relax and snooze. Dinner at 6.30 at the ? We reached the dam gasping for breath to be met a gaggle of old kiwis average age 70 who wanted to discuss the rugby or anything else they beaten Australia.
