    ... Victoria and had a giant military base as well. The memorial for the queen was nice. It was built in Kolkata because at the time Kolkata was the capital of India. We tried to go to the military base but were promptly turned away because we lacked the proper credentials. We then wanted to head to the Chinatown in Kolkata.     From one industrial town to another. But this time, there are no memory lanes to travel down. Its just a convenient pit stop; that's all. I am in Durgapur, at the edge of India's steel and coal belt.
