... by 8pm we eventually got asked to leave, we staggered the short walk back to the van to have dinner, which by now a few drinks on we desperately needed. After dinner Neil took Rory for a walk and somehow came back covered in mud.... He had fallen down a ditch, boy do we wish we'd seen this! The best drunken mishap of the tour so far. All in bed by 10pm we would all sleep well :-/ Daily Trip - 84 miles Total Trip - 1236 miles Overnight MH Parking - ...

... nter had bought us lots from the bakery, so we had a relaxed coffee and cake before heading off to the airport. We were very early, so we drove to the Fuelbecker Talsperre reservoir on the way, which was beautiful as ever, and then arrived nice and early to have a relaxed time in the airport. We ate pizza and got into the waiting room early, which is always nice. A short flight and a long drive later we finally arrived home, safe and sound!

... rode one of the Cross Country routes, which although not much single track had a lot of climbing and descending, at possibly the highest point of the ride the Thunder started to rumble at which point I decided to turn back and get down the mountain as quick as possible! I took cover in the village at the bottom of the Mountain for a bit ...
