Different small groups of our clan got to walk together during different points, allowing folks to chat and catch up. Ben found nearly 120 pieces of obsidian along the way (which proved heavy for the trek down for Abe). The summit is over 10000 ft. and the views are incredible. As we approached the summit we saw several mothers and baby big horn sheep, which Ben used his scope ...

I took a CPR training about 2 months ago. Today I used my skills for the first time. It's both amazing to know I'm able to assist, and at the same time it's horrible to need to use it. When I went to see their mineral exhibit it was just a short hallway! The museum is small and we did the whole museum in less than an hour. Don’t waste your time. Although the view from the roof is good.

... we called it a day and went home. Oh and after such a hectic day, we went out to dinner. Yum.....

If you are still with me and haven't skipped to the pics, only two more days to tell you about. Third full day was a US holiday - Labor Day - so we planned a lazy day to avoid crowds and just went out in the afternoon to visit Antelope Island and to view 'Great Salt Lake'. Fourth (last) full day we went to ...
