... many times before, but never on a weekend in the summer...holy ****, is it busy! But we have our wine and have taken our lawn chairs to the shore to watch the antics of fisherman and the tubers on the lake. Very entertaining! In Fact there seems to be a full on beanbag toss game going on between the adults at the two RV' s just in front of us... Beside us there are a couple of families, with a bunch of kids. We are hoping that they run out of steam soon so we can all get some ...

We finished packing, settled up with Tony (ouch! two weeks cabin and boat rental is a chunk of change!), and played a little Shanghai before going to bed. Ahhh....tomorrow we go home.

... would be the term I would use. On June 9th we arrived in Walker, Minnesota. It is lush and beautiful here. We spent the afternoon relaxing in the pool and planning out our next couple of weeks. We are headed to Itasca State Park today for some exploring. There are miles and miles of paved bike trails in this area, so I know we will be busy on the ...

We somehow managed to drag all three kids (Jared, Leah & Chloe) out of bed this morning to go fishing. We opted for our favorite spot...Pike Bay. After ducking under the bridges, and floating through the channel, we pulled into the lake. As I scanned the water for my mom and dad's boat, my eyes were drawn to a branch just off the shore. I made Tom go over and check it out, and we were all excited to find two Eagles sitting side by side. ...
