... Interesting to us was the fact that access to the beach in Bay St. Louis was limited, because there was no parking. They built a cement walk just beside the road leaving no shoulder, and reserved the space on the other side to walkers and bikers. So we were not able to park and go to the beach. I guess it must be reserved for the people who live in the houses across the street or anyone who can walk there or ride a bike.

... the Tallahassee RV park where we had planned on staying to find out they were completely full. First time we had a problem by not booking in advance. Cleverly we have all the campground guides etc. and an american cell so I was able to find us another rv resort to spend the night. We headed over to Big Oak RV park and registered there. What a wonderful park. The southern hospitality was as thick as honey in the office and I managed to score the family discount ...

... called Sage (see photo and commentary). It was French based cuisine and it was the best meal I'd had in a restaurant since I've been travelling. I was so surprised, Tallahassee is filled with many hidden secrets. One of my good friends, Jacki, from FSU had moved away from Tallahassee a couple of years ago and as chance had it she was visiting her daughter during my time in Tallahassee (see photo and commentary). Although our time together was limited we managed to ...
