We all woke up, and Mom, Dad, and Jan started working on our camper awning. The rest of us just hung around, playing video game, soccer, RC Truck, etc. Everybody ate lunch, then everybody except Jack and Jamie went to Farm & Fleet to look for tent poles for our awning. ... it was more riveting in its new display. A human fetus seen close up isn't a memory that soon fades. However, Museum's original installation of its embryo collection had been nothing special, a nondescript arrangement in an ordinary gallery. This had now been rethought. One entered a darkened round room, around the perimeter of which behind a glass wall had been chronologically arranged the 24 specimens, extending in age from a few weeks old embryo to ...

    Night Before the Big Trip

Well, it's late - the night before Craig and I leave for Germany. I'm really excited, but I'm also nervous I forgot something! As long as we have our passports and some money, I guess we'll make it. I hope I have a chance to update this blog as our trip unfolds - I think the boys might like to see our progress as we go along and it will help them countdown till we get home. Goodbye for now - auf ...
