        ... visiting family and friends.

        I recalled playing the "License Plate Game" as I child and with my girls while on long driving trips and we thought it would be a fun way to pass some of the time ourselves. We agreed to not make it a competition (although someone is acting like it is ... ahem ...) and made a list of the States and Provinces to check off.

        Next stop - Springfield, IL.

        ... returns came it appeared for a while that it was going to be a long night….but not so. The race Presidential race was called about 11 PM Central time. I then put on the headphones and Mallery's iPod which will be my next post... there is a story that goes with that...

        ... Resort in Sayner, Vilas County. It was a week of fishing, paddling, lounging, family, smores, loons, and "duck *****." It is not very exciting and so I decided that doing a bloggy thing would be a waste of time. The highlight for me was seeing a black bear on the way home in Arbor Vitae and finally consummating my fascination with the junkyard that Dr. Evermor transformed into a work of art known as Forevertron. Of course, the stay wasn't long since a huge lightning storm ...

        ... ve all heard nothing but the sob stories of how devoid of food my house generally is bahaa!). Though I've since been banned from the Bears games cause I jinxed them, but nonetheless, they'll forgive me soon enough.. maybe.. yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah no.

        UPDATE: Also worth mentioning, we went & visited the World's first McDonalds! Apparently the worlds largest fast-food chain ...
