We said our good-bye’s on Friday morning, called Chicago cousins (Waller, Hanrahan, Ullrich) and gave them enough time to lock their doors if they wanted to… but instead we were welcomed to a slice of heaven on earth just outside of Chicago..

Billy of course is in heaven because one of the clubs is a block away from my cousin's and while I liked it and took advantage of it too, my enthusiaism was a little more animated about the Caribou Cafes that too, were right around the corner!.

Ah, home!!!
We made it in just a few hours, no problems, no issues, just a quick drop off of Toni and her house and South Minneapolis, then it was home to my own house. Teri helped me unload the 2 weeks of road trip items, suitcases and all the junk.
It was a great road trip, but I am glad to be home!

... clean their water, but I don’t think that kills tapeworm eggs or larvae so I don’t recommend it if tapeworms are around (as they are at Isle Royale).
Clothing: Nylon wicking everything. One piece of clothing that came in very handy was a nylon bicycle beanie. It was small enough to keep in a pocket and I could put it on when my head got cold in the evenings and mornings.
