... in the afternoon so we had several small stops. he finally found a passable coffee at a Kwik Trip. The waitress said they had a new machine which gave coffee like Starbucks. Wes was a little sceptical about how good it would be but was pleasantly surprised.Coffee is cheap.We paid $3.36 for a coffee and an ice-cream for me.

... Rick doesn't do Colombia, so his packing highness is of no use to me on this trip.

China was easy (allowed one bag). The Dominican Republic was easy (swimwear). Spain was easy (allowed one bag). Iceland was easy (warm weather clothes). This one isn't proving to be so easy.

I've been told to take a backpack instead of rolling suitcase. Ergh. If I take a backpack it means my carry-on bag cannot be a backpack. This limits me a bit, and ...

Thursday, April 10:
Explore historic Villa de Levya. This town has less than 8k people and has a huge cobblestone plaza in its center. I will probably do some hiking to some nearby lakes and let the chillness of the town try to rub off on me. Will try almojabanas (bun with cheese and egg).

... the coffee, also doesn't disappoint.

4) Both have friendly people. Panamanians are very proud, and Colombians were named the happiest people on earth in 2013.

I'm still in the planning stages of what I will do, but am discovering new things about both of these places the more they are researched. I'm excited for what's to come!
