Let it be known that this town is a genuinely happy town. I don’t think we met a single person today who didn’t smile, greet us, and (in most cases) laugh heartily while hanging out with a couple of circus folk. Even their 4th-6th graders enjoyed and laughed during their clown assembly (most kids their age would’ve scoffed and made fun, but they had a great time). I think the Kelly Miller Circus is going to make Washburn a circus town!
Drove from Sturgis, through Nebraska, Iowa, into Illinois. Then on to the Indianapolis GP RV Park, Indiana, for 4 nights. Short walk to the track.
Watched practice day of the MotoGP on Friday 16th Sept, from 10am to 4pm. Super day!
Saturday, and another day at the track to watch practice and qualifying. Good stuff!

... to the grill. I've also purchased a new set of tires to replace 15-year old tires that are on the car. The original tires have lots of tread left, and if I were just using the car for driving around locally or short trips, I'd leave then alone for a couple years. But they are old and the sidewalls are beginning to show age, so they must go. The problem is that this car has real wire wheels and there aren't many places around that can mount and balance real wire ...
... to make inspirational works of art out of it! I mean you have to see these sculptures! They're amazing!! So incredible for such a simple plastic brick. The people shaped out of legos are so similar to the actual structure of a human being it is ridiculous! My favorite one was probably the yellow man holding each side of his ribcage, almost looks like he's ripping his chest open (weird, I know) but then their are legos falling out of him ... ...
