Once again, the peacefulness was shattered by partiers who talked, laughed and sang till 1 in the morning. Fortunately we were exhausted, so we didn't hear too much as we kept falling asleep during the festivities...and this morning, the huge bus beside us started his very loud diesel engine at about 8:30am and let it run for about 15 minutes. "I have GPS and you to tell me what to do" True, but I was driving at the time.....just saying...... I have not gotten fired as ...

Suzie turned 40 and she wanted to go camping. We loaded up Bugout1 and hit the road. We picked Red Rock, Iowa's largest lake. We stayed at Whitebreast campsite which is on the southern tip of the lake. We reserved spot#76 which was the end of the road in this campground. Completely shaded and away from most others. Sunny and 72 was our Friday. Perfect weather. Starving once we arrived so we whipped up a couple of sandwiches and chips n dip. Cracked Peace Tree's growler of Soundcheck ...

... a Saturday night? Dirt track racing of course. We are always down for motorsports so we pack back in the jeep and headed to Knoxville raceway to watch the sprint cars do battle all night. It was good clean mid western fun. A good time was had by all.

Step Three. Drink 2 Beers and pass out! It has been a marathon up to this point!

P.S Colby is not right. We are beginning to watch him closely, but something is definitely off.
