    ... Chose this one as I am wary of Quality Inn. Also the Quality Inn is on Comfort Drive which leads me to think it was once a Comfort Inn and has changed brands. A bus load of older persons arrived soon after. Will be interesting at breakfast.

    Had a nice dinner at Cracker Barrel. First time we have eaten there and I was surprised by the food and price. First time the menu had meat and choice of 3 vegetables or sides. Probably had about 3 nights worth of vegetables ...

    ... broad acre farming and central pivot irrigation. Some fields have pumps working which surprisingly were not powered by windmills. They were busy harvesting the grain - possibly oats, the corn was still in the fields and there may have been some young tobacco plants. Saw a few fields of beans. Have just found out that marijuana is the third top cash crop for farmers in Indiana!

    Arrived early and got our pick of sites. We got this one right on the lake. At dusk, the family of skunks would come out to enjoy the fallen crab apples on the tree in our site. The sunsets were gorgeous! We met Puff the Purple Dragon on the beach! Loved the water tower.

    We ventured out of Chester this morning competing for space on the highway for 8 miles with monstrous coal trucks!!!
