    I meet up with Ted for a run thru of our camp set up on Thursday night.We has a nice night. Our gear was all in order and it worked out well with the exception of a couple minor changes. We enjoyed Shepard pie for dinner, and headed out the next morning.     ... with my husband before the 23 day trip begins to do some fun activities before departure. We plan on spending $9,339 a person for the 23 day trip, and an extra $1000 for the 4 night stay in Los Angeles. With an extra $2000 a person for food, beverage, shopping and etc.

    ... as well as emotionally. The jet lag coming home was certainly very bad. By 4pm we were both extremely tired and wanted to go bed. 4pm here is 1am in Kenya! So even if we forced ourselves to stay awake until even 9pm, we both had a lot of trouble staying asleep past 2am at first.
