Yesterday we woke up early, had breakfast at the hotel, and then were dropped off at the airport by Grampa. We all said our goodbyes and then checked in. The line was a bit long at security, but we all survived. After grabbing some snacks, we boarded, took off, and were in the air. So easy, so simple. Kudos to the Denver Airport.

Turns out they did, so we drove over, picked them up and brought them back to the rig. We cooked out and they stayed w/ us that evening. Really good to see them ...

... Din Tai Fung, and Panne Vino, overnight trips with SEA and my wonderful roommate, traveling with Jim, and our tiny apartment with daily maid service.

I will not miss the "S" es of Shanghai. Smog, Shouting, Smoking, Spitting, and Squat toilets. I will not miss the crazy traffic and the adventure called crossing the street safely, car horns incessantly tooting. I will not miss the smell of Durian as I enter the grocery store. I will not miss painfully ...

... kind of fish it was but after being Barbequed seconds after being caught, it was yummy!

Now onwards to the Summer Palace; it was lovely to walk in the gardens and hear Jason tell the history and stories again. When we came upon the site where, in January we were sliding with the ice chairs with Tyler we retold Justin all these stories while having an ice cream. Again, although the pleasant temperatures made it enjoyable to walk around, the crowds did not. I would opt for cooler ...
