A long day of travel but I made it! Knoxville through Chicago to Newark. I waited about an hour for Claudia to arrive but then we scouted about the airport and shared a pizza for dinner. The restaurant had bubble lights which made us think of Carolyn building her house! Plane boarding and departure were on time and we were flying across the Atlantic. I slept a little though I do not do well sleeping on planes. About 9 hours later we arrived ...
... for me to be a blessing or receive a blessing~ or for us each to learn to enjoy the moment~ these are all things I learned. Because I did not have the distractions of my "daily" life to deal with, I realized I took time to be aware of those around me and take time to get to know them and enjoy them. We ended up stopping for the night at
Glasgow Walmart which is only half an hour to the Cave we want to
tour tomorrow. Not the best nights sleep, a 30 year old man was using
the nearly empty Walmart carpark as his personal race track. He had a
large radio controlled jeep that he was driving at like 70kms and it
made a charming roar as it raced around. Headed to sleep once that
stopped around 11pm. Ah, the joys of camping at Walmart!
