Went to have tire checked at Goodyear and was told it didn't take too much rubber off sidewall and so no problem continuing the drive. The rims will be ugly!! Checked into Knoxville Hilton garden Inn for night. Soooo much better than last night's Holiday Inn. Will try to get early start in the morning with long charge for the longest leg of ...

At our first night at an airbnb, we were made to feel very welcome by Vicki and Buddy, they showed us to a very lovely large bedroom with an onsuite. The name is somewhat of a misnomer as I soon found out. I asked the clerk about it and he said it was $11 to enter the museum and see the cars. He said I could take a look through the door before I decided. I peeked in and saw some of the cars and they were ...

... which was backed up for quite a ways. It took several minutes to actually get off the ramp and there were police officers directing traffic at the intersection. Must be a temporary problem. As we headed south, the traffic coming north was backed up for nearly a mile. This place didn’t look like it would generate that kind of traffic to me.

We saw a sign for a Great Smoky Mountain visitor center and we pulled off onto the shoulder, which was ...
