I know im behind and yet again writing from my phone so please, lets keep this like planet fitness and not judge lol.
On Saturday we started our 7 and half hour journey to Gatlinburg! We ended up being in the car for 11 hours! It was a long day!! We did stop and write the last post and I just had to pull over and take a nap at a truck stop, which added some time to the trip.
Some things I've realized...
... airport and misjudged the curb on way to charger. First boo boo on car! Went to have tire checked at Goodyear and was told it didn't take too much rubber off sidewall and so no problem continuing the drive. The rims will be ugly!! Checked into Knoxville Hilton garden Inn for night. Soooo much better than last night's Holiday Inn. Will try to get early start in the morning with long charge for the longest leg of ...
... so we headed back. IT'S a big city, lots of U turns ( the norm ) we ended up in Market Square, having had something to eat watching the world go by. ... we decided to head for Knoxville.We had booked through Airbnb for tonight and needed to be there at 4pm as Vicki the owner was going out. It was at this point it all went wrong. We travelled through heavy rain,clouds and very twisting roads up and down mountains.
