In the spirit of entering into local culture this Sunday morning, we decided on a full gospel service at the very large, nearby Mt Zion Baptist Church. We pulled into a huge car park which was already full, with loads of parking attendants on hand, and quickly realised that we were the only white people amongst the thousands streaming in for worship – and apart from one or two others, that was also true once inside the huge auditorium. As we rode through the suburbs we could hear calls from the folk on the side of the road, "Look, Australia". Obviously they recognised the Boxing Kangaroo. Wasn't hard. The flag was enormous! Everything went as smooth as.
After that, we shot over to the Drill teams.
