Decatur, AL is not the kind of place you want to get out and explore... even less so is where our hotel was in the nearby town of Athens, AL. We pulled in on Saturday night, about 8pm, and quickly realized that we weren't in Kansas anymore... or rather, New Orleans. Most of the local restaurants were already closed, or about to close, and were closed on Sundays... yeehaw. Today was a busy day, we got up early, Colin took his shower, and we ate breakfast to make it to the Marshall Space and Rocket Center and Home of Space Camp. After leaving Brazil, I got into Huntsville about 11am. Jacqui and I went down to Gadsden for my family's big get together for Christmas. Then on Sunday, we went back down for my cousin's wedding. It was a whirlwind trip and I didn't get the chance to write much while I was down there. This is all recounting some of the stuff from the last few weeks.
