We drove up the western side of Virginia, today, crossed into West Virginia then Maryland and ended up in Pennsylvania. Not bad - 4 states in one day. We could never do that out West!
We stopped here for a small coffee break, but ended up staying for more than 1 hour due to heavy rain & warnings for severe tornado, even a possibility of flash floods!
This much rain is rare for this location.

... laughter and even had a lady he was exchanging banter with, much to her delight. We could have stayed there all day...
Lastly, we toured a larger nursing home/hospital facility...this ended up being more of a walk around situation and once again, we met some incredibly lovely people who brightened our day (J.P. had more than one person thank him for bringing them smiles and laughter that day).
... it as a young surveyor so there is a lot of history here. As a matter of fact, they say that George Washington carved his initials into the wall about 25' above the water level. At night, they have light shows to music which we are told are very popular.
