This morning we took our time loading up the rest of our things in the RV, even took a short bike ride to clear our heads a bit. Headed out around 2pm, stopped at Cabela's and Lowes and then arrived at Twin Grove in time to build the campfire and settle into our new normal on the road. Still surreal that we are making this ...

Centralia is a true ghost town - only a few homes still stand in the area and the population as of 2010 is 10. It was a cool atmosphere in the forest at night, only being able to see in cone maybe 20 yards ahead of me where my headlight shone, and I turned off my music for a bit to get the full "alone in the woods at night" vibe, but I was too close to the interstate and any natural ambiance was sadly drowned out by the sound of cars, so the music went back on. It sprinkled on and off but ...

Fun In The Sun....and On The Water

... river isn't that deep in many places, but thanks to a schedules dam release we enjoyed some class 3 white water as we made our way down the river (sorry, but camera was put way before we got to the whitewater). Our boat crew had a great time trying to stay in the lead (although it really wasn't a race). ...
