    ... knew that NY, PA and Ohio were so into wine making. If we had more time, we would have stopped at a winery or two, but Toledo was on the radar and we eventually had to get the car in gear moving west. We drove through Cleveland, which has a very impressive ball field where it is my understanding that the Cleveland Indians play.     ... from cinder blocks and iron rebar. At one point in the cooking we had to flip the pig over, which required three people to lift, even without the hooves and guts. It was even more difficult to carry it from the spit to the chopping block, which took four of us to hoist and shuffle. For the most part once I arrived, though, there wasn't much to do.     ... with Megan, they are assigned books to read and the three farmers visit other farms in the area to see different examples of how things can be run, depending on what is being grown or raised. Additionally, there was another WWOOFer when I showed up: a Minnesotan named Joey, who is biking (yeah, biking!) his way from Minneapolis to Asheville for school this fall.

    We visited a youth theater group who performed a song from Seussical for us...they were polite but pretty quiet during John's performance, so we cut it a bit short and moved on. After that, we went to a senior center, where three kids were visiting their grandparents...John put on an impromptu show for them ...
