... the to just outside Sarnia for yet more pickups. No traffic crossing over to Port Huron, had to get off the bus with everyone else and go through customs. Not to painful at all. Corned beef on rye for dinner at the Mediterranean Grill and it was yucky. Board the plane for the flight to Paris at 8:40 pm and depart at 9:35. But I can feel myself getting stronger by the day, in body, mind, and spirit. Tomorrow will begin early with discussion about the books Will and Rachael are required to read followed by a field trip to another farm in town to observe how they operate, which will also be followed by more work around ...

Had to get up early today because I was going to school. Bit of a change after not teaching all this year. I spent the day in Shannon's classroom today which is a year 2 class and it was really interesting to see how things are done at her school. Staff room discussion was very similar to Aussie staff rooms. It's only their 4th week back but lots of comments about assessment, evaluation - paper trails etc. Sound familiar? ...
