          ... area of Toledo was extremely desolate. Lots and lots of big buildings that were empty and I don't mean on only one street, it was on every street we drove on. It was almost like a ghost town. A couple big banks and county buildings that seemed occupied but that was about all.           ... now and then, we'll get a string of folks who have either have low senses of humor or an entirely different sense of humor than we do.

          We visited a youth theater group who performed a song from Seussical for us...they were polite but pretty quiet during John's performance, so we cut it a bit short and moved on. After that, we went to a senior center, where three kids were visiting their grandparents...John put on an impromptu show for them ...
