Well, Liz, Cathy and TJ had the margaritas. I stuck with Sprite for this one. TJ caught a few waves at the beach even though there was hardly anything to catch. Then we went back to Liz's where Cathy took control as chef. She and Liz made this awesome bruschetta ...

... the bar to Michael our server person it was just fine.

Left Hattiesburg about 8.30 this morning and made good progress to Mobile, stopped for a coffee at Sonic and then found our way thro' the maze to join 98 too early. Got a good unintendeded tour of the Gulf Coast before gettin back onto 98 and where we wanted to be.

Been warm again but only 85-90 so not quite as sweltering asual.

... were flying over the nice clear water.  We pretended that they were helping us find the ring.  They weren't.

Did I mention how nice and clear the water was.

Eventually we decided to come back to the condo and make adult smoothies....

Mmmm.... adult smoothies....

The wedding is soon, we will be barefoot on the beach, not sober, and looking good.

... people on the earth. All of our family members have been so supportive of our move but the hardest part of our move has been saying goodbye to these people. It was a perfect week in Florida, but it would have been a perfect week in Alaska, Timbuktu, or even Wisconsin, because it was the people that we were with that made this week so perfect. We love our family so much, and are so thankful that we were able to spend this week with them!

When we got to Destin, we found our beach house where we will be staying with my grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins. But they had not arrived yet, so we went down to the ocean and swam for a little while, then went out for a seafood dinner. My Uncle Jason met us there to get the keys and we drove the convertible back to see everyone. It was great to be all together again, especially on the beach!

... the country. Sugar white sand and blue green water. We visited family, at Appilachicola oysters and shrimp. Terri cooked some thick, juicy, all-American size steaks for dinner one night and she also made biscuits and gravy with grits for breakfast one morning. Why is this trip so much about the food??? ... Navarre, FL, we found out the job was a no go. So....we were so bummed, we didn't explore much further. We headed to our final destination in Philly with the goal of finding a job to finish paying for our explorations. A a result, we are now in philly...finishing the blog we never finished... Sorry for the anticlimactic ending to this adventure. We do promise to ensure our next adventure concludes in a more exciting fashion... -signing off....K&C

Got up at about 7-8, beautiful day--sunny. Made a tentative small plan, while waiting to see the Concierge to receive our packet and directions of the resort. We had been told a certain restaurant to eat at.....well after have two older ladies cut in line, Thelma and I discussed our options, I with normal voice and antipation of "touring", I blurted out "Let's go to Pudfuc.....ers." Needless to say the restaurant is named "Fudpuckers ...

... never very busy, but we did have to turn from the parking space on to 98, and take it a few yards to the road. That was fun, being in traffic in that thing, but we weren't the only golf cart out there. Also, you could rent these little three wheeled, two seater electric carts, and lots of people were driving along scenic 98 in those, so our little electric golf cart fit right in. It did storm for a few minutes that afternoon, but within less than an hour the sky ...
