... Unfortunately, we had middle seats and were unable to photograph it for posterity. After a cursory perusal of our passports, we were allowed entry into Italy. Our cab driver did not speak any English, but was a great driver who enjoyed high rates of speed and the challenge of locating our obscure backstreet location of our apartment. We were too early to get in, so we wandered a few blocks to the beautiful church and piazza ...

... top floor also includes a private residence for the Clinton family. I guess I was wrong, I had believed that the Clinton's abandoned Arkansas for the fast lane of New York. I have a new found respect for the Bush families return to their chosen homes in Texas. Having your foundation build a residence at your library was a pretty slick move...

I have to now provide my personal disclaimer. I would love to have a beer with Bill Clinton, however, ...

... To be honest, they all begin to the look the same. Big building with a dome in the middle. Afterwards we headed to the Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site. This was where in 1957 nine African-American students tried to attend school, (they had been granted permission as part of the desegregation process), but were turned away by force. From the Visitor Centre we were given a guided ...
