I write this on Monday, the 25th, but will be talking about a couple days ago. Therefore, I'm a little confused about what it means that I "set the date" to the 23rd, and the location to Evanston. My intention is to say that is the place and time of the events I'm describing, not my current whereabouts, which are much different (South Dakota, about five minutes from Mount Rushmore...but that's a blog entry for another day).

There is excitement in the air as the team from Evanston Bible Fellowship prepares for our mission trip to Kisumu, Kenya through Christ's Hope International.

Right now we are getting to know each other, sending out our support letters, and preparing for travel in August. The least anticipated part is getting all of the vaccinations for going to the region!

        ... before we're leaving!

We leave for Seattle in the AM. We'll have 2 hours there and then off to Tokyo! Only 10.5 hours from Seattle to Tokyo so it shouldn't be too bad! I have lots of Bride magazines to go through. And Ivan has lots of homework. Dad will be asleep the whole time I'm sure!

Love to all and we'll see you soon. Check back often for updates!

... there for some more time. This was because there seemed to be like a treasure to be explored in there. Books, pages, articles, articrafts, piggy stuff (she is obsessed with pigs!) All were real fun to explore. I especiallly loved her list of the most hadsome/ pretty people she knew. Among that list, for sure you could see her picture smiling at you. That's so of her. ( I love you Louisa!) Then the time came when a young couple entered the house. I ...
