          ... ahead, it seemed that we would catch up with the back of a front, so decided to stay for an hour or two to give the weather time to go through. Randy and Linda at the FBO were very welcoming; they had a courtesy car available for the short journey into town which we used to visit the local café. In the end, it was four hours before we were airborne again. Thanks for your help and friendliness.

          Kansas is a hot, dry and windy place or at least it was on Sunday as we visited downtown Topeka. We saw the beautiful capital building and several churches. Grace Episcopal Cathedral which is the seat of the Episcopal Diocese in Kansas was one of the churches we found.
