We will post trip information here as soon as it starts. For 2010, we will continue planning the project and look for Sponsors that are willing to invest and support the Project. All indications in that regard is ...
Panama City, Florida, United States pamericas... a spot on the sand away from the kiddies and mullets...pretty good time.

Had a dolphin swim within 15 feet of me, probably due to our perfected dolphin and mermaid calls (I had nothing on Brad and Kat´s--but it worked).

We had no idea what we were getting into.

But this seems to be the only place on earth that serves Busch Beer in bottles--worth the price of admission.

Panama City Beach, Florida, United States lexicon.... I relish the sunshine and the brightness that comes with it. In this northern Florida panhandle we have miles and miles of the world's whitest beaches, a bay and the Gulf of Mexico that are the seat of all the recreation. The Panama City Beach area is referred to as the Emerald Coast because of the crystal green waters. Rae, my friend from Germany who is now in North Carolina, visited for a weekend. That was a highlight to ...
Panama City,, Florida, United States francie... we traveled along the Apalachicola River from Apalachicola to Panama City. This was undoubtedly one of the prettiest areas I have cruised thus far. The scenery was spectacular in its wilderness; seemingly untouched by man. Traveling through waters and country such as this inspires thought, awe and humbles one to remember the beauty of nature. /Though I tried to capture some of the scenery on my camera, it simply is not ...
Panama City, Florida, United States lgrubbs... the boat and sailing it to the pier at the condo. Then it's a calm fishing day. Except, the first boat's motor catches on fire, out in the water. The only replacement is a pontoon, which isn't the best for casting. But nothing stops dedicated fishermen/women. There's enough fish for dinner! No suprise.
Panama City, Florida, United States kupdegra... to fish. Lew gave me my first rod...a Wright & McGill. And he tried to teach me how to cast. At the age of 6 I was practicing in his yard. I think my brother Skip was hooked at birth. My younger brother Scott also became addicted. So addicted that he now lives on a trout stream, the Sinnemahoning Creek in Driftwood, PA. Skip taught ...
Panama City, Florida, United States kupdegra... storage, some that I had in the old RV, some new. We finally had most everything as we liked it, but there were still a couple of things Terry wanted checked out at the Tiffin service center in Red Bay, AL so when we finally left PJ's, we drove on up there in the NW corner of AL. While there, we also took the factory tour, which was very informative and made us happy that we had gotten a ...

We were enjoying our stay there with our friends and PJ's really good cooking, as well as, helping with the phones, so we stayed through Memorial Day. Even my little Lika got along fine with PJ's two big dogs. Speaking of Lika, I took her to local vet to get her annual shots and certificates (that we often had to show at some parks, plus we were planning to go into ...
Vernon, Florida, United States chictravelers2... to drive (10hours! ugh) to Miami where we stay overnight and then catch a 7:30am flight to Quito, Ecuador. We will need to take altitude sickness pills as we will be about 3000m above sea level when we land. We hear that the airport is something else as it is right in the middle of the city. A bit scary to land in I think. We will be ...
Panama City, Florida, United States janda... it was on to the tiny town of Vernon, FL where our friend PJ has a house. PJ was supposed to be there at that time, but had a change of plans and couldn't leave Maui. Her friend, Vinny, also lives there and kept company with us. We were able to park in their big back "yard", next to their workshop garage and across from one of the two ponds on the property. Terry fished to his heart's content and caught a bunch of small stuff plus a couple of big ...
