... and surely, up I went to finally arrive at the top of Mount Tremblant one and a half hour later. I had conquered the mountain and felt proud of myself but out of breath at the same time. From my standing point, the Laurentians were opening in front of me. I could see as far away that I could. The mountains were all majestic with their coloured leaves.
After having had time to relax, chat, explore the surroundings, off we went to ...
Just a quick blog about Mont Tremblant!
I've never been anywhere like the village of Mont Tremblant before. It's some weirdly clean, very tourist orientated, colourful collection of shops and facilities, on the mountain, surrounded by some of the amazing Canadian scenery. There is a relaxed atmosphere, probably because most people there are on holiday. When we went there was a music/arts festival ...

Day #16...
Today was one of the best days in mind so far because we did lots of stuff. Alright so we woke up and got ready in a reasonable time and decided to head out for the luge on the ski hill. The luge involves ...
... 8217;ai brûlé un peu aussi, mais j’ai utilisé ma crème d’écran.
OK, I am tired. I will write more tomorrow (hopefully)… In the meantime, you can check out my pics. Keep in mind that since my camera was KIA, these are my friend’s pics. I have to wait for my camera to get developed to see mine…

... we set out for a full day of skiing. I was a little cautious at first because I hadn't skied since I took that jump and hurt my knee which landed me on crutches. However, after a little warm up I was racing with adrenaline and screaming down the black diamond slopes. Wow, do I love skiing. I know this is kind of an odd thing to mention but the McDonalds in St Sauveur is worth a visit. I'm not normally a huge fan but this place is not the normal franchise ...

Piedmont, Quebec, Canada aildoux... although my thighs were killing by the end of the first run). We decided to do a blue run on our third run of the day. Now for anyone who has skied in Australia a Canadian blue run is roughly equivalent to a black run from my experience. So we were quite chuffed about that. We ended up doing mostly blue runs for the rest of the day. We took Phil down the long green run in the afternoon as it was his first time sking ...
Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada dkjohansen... are not high or particularly dangerous. It is like a very European Thredbo with only 10% difficult runs. The rest are easy cruising. Quebec is truly different to the rest of Canada; there are none of the big chains evident, here, although over on highway 117, there is a low key McDonalds for the Americans travelling home after a day of skiing. My hosts here, Jean-Claude and Linda are a lot like Patrick and Catherine. He speaks some ...
