    ... her constant cat chases in the yard and running away to the "beach" to then luckily be found by a stranger.

    My first night here tornado warnings/sirens went off 3x. We stayed in the basement and watched movies. Wine, chocolate and candles were our main necessities. Luckily the tornado never hit. What an adrenaline rush though! I didn't go to bed until 2am that night. (SEE VIDEO)

While doing research on beers in Indiana, I found Shoreline Brewing in Michigan City!  It seemed like it would be a good place to go for dinner.  The brewpub was in a very touristy part of Michigan City well off of the interstate and close to the lake.  The area seemed a bit abandoned since the tourist season in northern Indiana is pretty much over by the end of September, but the brewpub was still pretty busy.     ... 2 and a half hours later we arrived at the customs gate, cranky and several pounds lighter. The officer was suprisingly cheery and wished us a good trip. Finally, the USA, and 4 and a half hours behind schedule.

    ... what it was like to be torn like this. On top of the emotional adjusting, this whole jet lag thing is HORRIBLE! My sleeping patterns are completely messed up. I think it will take a while....     ... on the streets. More than in any other city I've been too in a while. I spent almost a week in Michigan, who'd a thunk it. I drove across the state from Ontario to Grand Rapids to visit my Aunt Mary and see my first cousins Bill and Roy. Though the visit was brief, it was good to see everyone.
