    ... these little puppies, or actually how far it can go.
    This one in particular afforded us a few chicken sandwiches, a club house for
    dinner, and a all you can eat Taco night at our place with a few of our
    friends, and featuring the chicken and a tube of chorizo, which we had also
    picked up at the opening of the new Sam’s Club in Harlingen. Then of course the
    chicken soup which fed Angie and I, and Pete and Chris and our good friend Roxy.

    ... efficiently and at least our meal was piping
    hot and could not be beat for flavor and or value. Thanks to those people in
    the park who put out and volunteer to do these things for the rest of us, who
    prefer to drink, which we did at Jim and Alice’s happy hour after the 4:00 pm

    Today we had beautiful weather! The sun was shining, we were all actually breaking a sweat, and there was a nice cool breeze through the air all day. All of our windows were open and we had fans going. The weather is so fickle here! This morning we ran over to Hobby Lobby (really dislike that place, but it's the only walkable store that has what we need, curse them!) for some wooden dowels to fix the fishing rod. Yep, the rod broke in half in the last show last night so we had to come up with ...

    In July, 2011 we met in McAllen, Texas with the TrekoftheAmericas' Expedition. Here we checked all the mechanical aspects of the vehicle and verified the international paperwork. This was two days of pre-departure preparation. This was the hottest place of the whole trip, including the tropics of South America!
