A travel blog entry by marteeny on Jan 29, 2015

Pretty good huh - I'm usually still in bed at that time! 9:45 - raining but not the freezing rain they warned us about - fingers crossed that it stays this way. 11:00. - rest stop. We have also been given the finger a few times for merging normally. Just something to get used to I guess and it makes us extra cautious which is good. Anyway, we drove through the mountains and passed many small creepy ...

We've made it to Frankfort, KY. Frankfort was established in 1786 and was original called Frank’s Ford for the pioneer Stephen Frank who was killed during an American Indian attack along the Kentucky River. With only 25,000 residents Frankfort is the 5th smallest capital in the US and not even the largest city in Kentucky.

    Next stop = Charleston, WV

Distance from Frankfort = 197 miles

    Distance from SHE = 642 ...
