... Señora in the seat behind us ( bingo C27! ) began whimpering and crying out. After several visits from United officials It was determined she would need medical attention and needed to be returned to the gate. She was either having a major anxiety attack or possibly just wasn't ready to go home yet...not really sure which. Oh, and by the way we will have to wait a bit while they try and find her luggage stowed away in the cavernous hole of a few hundred ...
Yesterday, I tried to fix my stay at a guest ranch in the Texas Hill Country. However, the ranch of my choice is closed for a week due to a family wedding. I have checked for alternatives, but I either do not like the ranch or it is way too expensive. Therefore, I will jump on a horse in New Mexico or Arizona. Naturewise I will like those states better anyways.
So, this forenoon I will hop in a bus to San Antonio. Jan 29th in the evening, I will fly to El Paso.
Oh my goodness! What a night! 8 girls in 1 room coming and going at any time of the night. Making loud noises, putting the light on, snorring crazy, clogging the toilet, jumping around in the upper bunk, very limited respect. Under these circumstances I had my difficulties catching sleep. Am I getting too old for a dorm?

We also needed to do a little shopping for some cold weather items and headed off to an outlet mall to find Sheree some boots, a sweater and long sleeved shirts for both of us. Sheree got a hair cut from Frank from Iran in the Paris Hair Salon. We also ate lunch at a Mexican restaurant called Sergio's. The food was quite good but Ted thought the salsa was especially good and couldn’t get enough of it.

This weather was not really what we were expecting for our stay on the ranch but it was still enjoyable and relaxing. We all agree that we could stay longer.
Tonight nobody could be bothered cooking so we went to the only restaurant in Bellville - The Silver Saddle Smokehouse. It was dirt cheap, probably the cheapest meal we have had in the states in terms of bang for your buck. Lots of meat, ...
