Well, today was a bit of a tardy start, but we got moving eventually. First on the list was the Incline Railway. Wikipedia has this to say, which saves me getting it wrong; "The Lookout Mountain Incline Railway is a 4 ft 8 1⁄2 in (1,435 mm) standard gauge[2] inclined plane railway located along the side of Lookout Mountain in the historic St. Elmo neighborhood of Chattanooga, Tennessee, in the United States. We arrived in Chattanooga crossed over to Georgia and gave up on the 127 yard sale. It was fun while it lasted but we are hot any tired and ready for a shower. On the way to our hotel we saw a Muffler Man at Sir Gooneys Golf. He makes three for this trip. We have one left to see in Oklahoma on the way home. Tomorrow we head to Nashville to visit the The American Pickers ...

Rather stressful drive today through some heavy traffic areas. I dislike big city driving at the best of times. Glad that was over. Reached Chattanooga around 3.30pm and decided to look for a Motel. Settled in to a Motel6 chain one. Cheap Tarif, free ...

Damn, it's 6.10, the cricket started 10 minutes ago. Fumbling for the iPad in the dark, pushing the eyelids open to focus, finally hearing Tuffers telling me that Starc had just gone, I realise all is well as I become further awake and there are only two wickets remaining. They soon fall and it's not even breakfast time here. We lay and listen to the celebrations as best we can on a radio and I must admit 'gloated', much as an ...

Awake at 5am once more, ABC googled, test match special found, the dulcet tones of 'Aggers' greet us with England still batting and piling on a few runs to establish a good lead. All is going well. We (England) declare, put the Aussies in for a couple of overs before lunch and we manage to put the wind up them. We are leaving today for Chattanooga, Tennessee. We have a leisurely breakfast because it is only a 3-4 hour drive. Our only mission is to get ...
