Eight of us met at Macatawa Legends for Senior Day. Great deal - golf and lunch for $35. Such a beautiful day. Golf not so beautiful. Still had fun. Something about Boots? Back to Schmidts to pick up our stuff, then to Grand Rapids. Doing a Park 'n Fly while we are gone. Good place, will park car here while we are gone. Up early tomorrow. 7:30 flight to Anchorage.
After arriving at the airport, checking in, going through security, and waiting to board, my flight was cancelled, altering my entire itinerary. I am now leaving tomorrow afternoon. I am sitting at the Grand Rapids airport, waiting for my flight to board. After saying all of my goodbyes I feel many things, but overall I am glad I made the choice to research abroad. It's hard to make changes in life, but sometimes a change is necessary in order to get to where you're going.
