5:14 pm welcome to the south! We were supposed to be in Raleigh by 2 pm....the rain caused a bunch of accidents on I-95 and the going has been slooooooooow (that's a lot of dr Laura). JP says that this was a really tough day of driving. I didn't notice....I was busy washing my hair. He was the one doing all that shifting through 10 gears and maneuvering this animal through traffic. Seriously though, check out the no rinse nasa shampoo. ...

      ... boat!

It was incredible to be grubby travellers bouncing along in our oversized kitchen appliance camping at Walmart and then to be amongst a family with home cooked meals in woodland lake paradise. Thanks also to Dale and Cathy for the ride in the chopper (Robbie 66 beaut machine), for another lovely meal and a blast on a stupidly powerful jetski (I’m just starting to get some colour back in my knuckles). See you back in ...

Our alarm went off at 5:00 a.m. this morning and we dragged ourselves out of bed to finish our last minute packing of toiletries, etc. and pack our cooler bag with the sandwiches and salads purchased yesterday for us to enjoy on the bus later today. Since we arrived at WDW last Thursday evening, we have only had approximately four to five hours of sleep each night. There has just been so much to do and not enough hours in the day to fit it ...

... I felt like having breakfast for dinner...my favourite thing to do when travelling long distances. It is comfort food to me. I had the country sampler platter which consisted of grits, biscuits with sausage country gravy, fried apples, eggs, country sausage, sugar cured ham, bacon, hash brown casserole and some hot and steamy coffee. I am content! The three of us ate for just over $26 not including ...

... back some great memories and I definitely will be back in the future to enjoy some more. It's a beautiful place to visit when you have some down time, to get back in tune with nature and meet some very loving people along the way. Where I stayed is near a huge lake, that spans a few towns including the town of Gaston, NC. In the summertime people from all over the country come to visit the awesome lake and have fun at the lake houses, fishing and ...
