Part of the enjoyment of Nationwide Arena is in fact the Arena district itself. The city has obviously put a lot of effort into the area - it's all very well maintained and there are lots of restaurants and bars for both pre- and post-game fun! The arena itself is new and has everything you'd want at a hockey game. The big cannon they fire off when the Blue Jackets score is awesome.
