The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet left a little to be desired but overall it had a bed and bathroom and that was all we needed.

I started 8th since I had the second worst qualifying time of our group. We all start in race fashion with a pace lap and then the green flag drops and off we go. As you drive you can hear your spotter telling you to take a certain line to avoid a spinning car, or for some other reason. I narrowly avoided a couple of wrecks and nearly got sandwiched by two cars when the race started.
