        ... who had been a tank driver in Desert Storm. He and his son helped us look, but even with tank expertise, we couldn't find it. We figured let's go for a drink before the game. Tim "yelped" "bars in Bluefield," and Applebees is what came up. (You get that we are out in the boondocks.) Off we went to Applebees for a beer and a diet Pepsi, where we encountered another refugee from the baseball parking lot. Everyone had two hours to kill.

        ... not participate fully due to cramps :/ worse thing ever... not being able to climb on a trip that was supposed to be flawless.. Its okay though, I gathered enough composure to crush a 10! On top rope...but still! It was fun.

        ... for when they got back. We set up camp and took off to the local pizza joint. Pies and Pints was incredible! It had the most unique flavors of pizza, the one that stood out most was the grape pizza. Delicious, who would have known??         We spent the last two days at lake Stephens marina and campground just outside Beckley WV. We spent Sat afternoon recovering from the ride from rt 77 to the campground. It was 45 minutes of terror as we drove on a road that was barely two lanes. The road took us up and down the mountain with numerous hairpin turns. When we arrived at the park I asked them to please assure me that there was an alternate route out. They mapped out another route that wasn't as bad but ...
