... long skinny pillar My favourite next to the white house was the Martin Luther King Memorial which had three large white rocks representing faith, hope and despair. ML Kings statue was carved int he middle rock and the way the shadows and light cast on his statue made him seem lifelike. After our visit, went back home to pick up Lawrence, Sasha and Alex and went off to shop for Korean food at the Lotte markets. Drove up to Paul and Erins place in Baltimore where Lawrence (former chef) prepared Korean banquet for us. MMMmm! Masitda! (Delish) Met their dog Sid who does a good high five but does not like pickled radish.

We had a great nights sleep and had an inclusive breakfast. There was a hash meaty thing, couldn't eat it. The toast was nice as was a chipped potato dish. Darren had a quadruple helping of WAAAAFFFFLLLLEEESS!!!! Over the mass produced coffee plunger things. Gross! We went by metro to the museums, 20 minute journey. Air and Space. Cooper went crazy, it was easy just to follow him and to allow Darren time to spend seeing the displays. ...
